SECRET SONGS ON UNIVERSAL ORLANDO’S HOLLYWOOD RIP RIDE ROCKIT
Do you remember the first time you discovered a hidden track on one of your favorite CDs when you were younger? It was always so exciting to listen to silence as you waited for the secret song to start playing through the speakers. And when it came on you were so thrilled to not only hear one more song from your favorite artist, but also because you knew a secret about the CD. Well, we’re here to tell you that Universal Studios' Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit has dozens of secret songs you had no idea existed, and we’ll show you how to tap into them.
As you board the coaster and look down at the mounted pad with a list of genres on it, instead of picking a music genre and a song, simply hold down on the Rockit logo for 10 seconds. Once you let go, a number pad will appear. Enter a three-digit number like 701, and press enter. If you see a screen that says, “Please be aware you are unable to make a video with this song,” then it worked! If all you hear is a click, then the number is not valid, and you will not hear a secret song as you whirl through the ride.
When a correct code is entered, the screen won’t tell you what the song is, but with a little research we’ve discovered several correct codes and their corresponding songs:
101 - “The Temples of Syrinx” by Rush
102 - “Blues Before & After” by The Smithereens
