New Entertainment Options at the Walt Disney World Resort

While entertainment and meet and greets may be a little different for a while, there’s still lots of magic at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Traditional meet and greets are on pause right now, you’ll still be able to see some of your old friends in processions, motorcades and cavalcades throughout the day.  Or you may just run into Buzz Lightyear as you exit Space Ranger Spin at the Magic Kingdom, Anna and Elsa as you’re wandering the World Showcase in Epcot or spot members of the Resistance hiding out in Black Spire Outpost at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  You never know who you might run into!

​Scheduled parades and nighttime shows that draw large crowds are currently unavailable.  But, several musical groups like my favorite, the JAMMinators in Epcot have returned!  Here’s a list of new and old entertainment options that are currently available:

Magic Kingdom:
• Main Street Philharmonic
• Character Cavalcades throughout the day, with Guest-     favorite Disney friends appearing along the parade         route, which will include:
            The Royal Princess Processional
            Mickey & Friends Cavalcade
            Fantasyland Friends Cavalcade
            A Goofy Cavalcade
            Tinker Bell & the Lost Treasure

Epcot
• JAMMitors
• Mariachi Cobre
• Character Cavalcades throughout the day, featuring favorite Disney                                                                                   friends traveling around World Showcase promenade,including:
              Frozen Promenade
              Mickey & Friends World Tour
              Princess Promenade

Animal Kingdom
• Character Cruises throughout the day, with Guest-           favorite Disney friends appearing in boats around             Discovery River, including the following:
               Discovery River Character Cruise
               Discovery Island Drummers
               Donald’s Dino Boat Bash!
               Mickey & Friends Flotilla

Hollywood Studios
• Character Cavalcades throughout the day, with favorite Disney friends                                                                             appearing along Hollywood Boulevard—including:
              Disney Junior Stars Motorcade
              Mickey & Friends Motorcade
              Pixar Motorcade

​Who knows, as you make your way to Space Mountain, Flight of Passage, Rise of the Resistance or one of your other favorite attractions, you might just stumble upon a new entertainment favorite too.  Whether you plan to visit Walt Disney World later this year or plan to wait until next year, you’ll always find some magic.
