Disney Very Merriest After Hours special event begins November 8th and will run on select evenings through December 21st. This 4-hour event, held at the Magic Kingdom will offer special holiday shows, parades, fireworks, treats and shorter attraction wait times. Epcot International Festival of the Holidays begins November 26 and runs through December 30th. This yuletide festival includes a Candlelight Processional with celebrity narrators and at 50-piece orchestra and full choir. You can celebrate the holidays around the world listening to storytellers share their holiday traditions and tales or enjoying seasonal delights at special kiosks throughout the World Showcase. And make sure to take an evening boat ride on Living with the Land as you cruise through holiday light displays. Animal Kingdom comes alive with colorful, animal-inspired luminaries on the rooftops, wireframe bird-shaped lanterns, and themed garland adorning the buildings throughout the land. You’ll also find some of your favorite Disney characters as they cruise down Discovery River throughout the day on holiday flotillas. And the tree of life will come alive in the evening with holiday lighting and projections. Hollywood Studios is the place to be to catch Santa Claus and his motorcade, Minnie, and friends in their holiday best at the Hollywood and Vine restaurant and a festive projection show on the Hollywood Tower Hotel. And don’t forget about Disney Springs! You can get some holiday shopping done, have a festive meal and enjoy the seasonal entertainment as you stroll throughout the neighborhoods viewing Disney themed Christmas trees. There will be an abundance of festive fun across the Walt Disney World Resort this holiday season!
